Description
The USB adapter is designed to connect microcontrollers to a PC for flashing and programming. It supports Serial, TTL, and UART communication and is compliant with Coiaca’s products.
The adapter supports both 3.3V and 5V output voltages, which can be easily switched by adjusting the jumper position. The board is clearly marked with corresponding positions for 3.3V and 5V.
Three LEDs provide real-time status updates:
- The blue LED illuminates when a stable power supply is detected.
- The red LED flashes during data transfer to the microcontroller.
- The green LED indicates data reception from the microcontroller.
Additionally, a built-in fuse safeguards the USB port against power surges. After a few minutes, the fuse resets automatically, allowing for continued use of the adapter.
While not required for regular operation, two extra headers are available for CTS and RTS, offering enhanced functionality if desired.
The adapter comes with included wires for convenience.
